Whether career counseling engineering and law students (NYU Tandon & NYU Law), or managing residential life (University of Michigan and NYU Law), creating opportunity, providing hospitality, and building community have been at the core of my professional life. After retiring in 2022, I decided to combine my career, love of nature, commitment to philanthropy and desire to connect people–here at the Ampersand Inn. I have owned a home in Sussex County for over 35 years, balancing it with a career in Manhattan, and am thrilled to now immerse myself in the local community.
Beyond superlative comfort and cuisine, I would like the Ampersand to be a “house of possibilities” — a center for celebration, creativity, healing, hope, giving back, and connection to each other and to ourselves. How do we plan to accomplish this?
I was fortunate to combine a high profile career (the Princeton Review ranked my office #1 for the best law school career services in the country) with many other passions in my life. I am glad to include you! I dance locally (great live bands), hike with the Kittatinny Valley State Park walkers, and enjoy volunteer activities that strengthen our community. Please let me know if you would like to dance, hike or volunteer with me!
