The Ampersand Inn is committed to accessibility to our website and lodging facilities. To assist with the accessibility of our website, we have been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
We have also implemented the Web Accessibility Digital Tool called Equalweb. Equalweb is a leading solution for digital accessibility and is trusted by leading Fortune 500 companies (among others) and non-profits. Their mission is to make the digital world accessible to everyone.
To help us make our facility accessible for people with disabilities, we have worked under the direction and review of the Township of Andover New Jersey, and, as such:
- Offer one ADA compatible room, Redlich. This room offers an accessible shower with grab bars, seat and adjustable shower head. The room and bathroom are wheelchair accessible and offer pocket doors within the rooms and ramps.
- Offer parking which is appropriately labeled for those with special parking needs, located about 20 feet from the ADA Compliant room.
- Offer ramp access to our check in and dining areas
